I am a versatile professional with a passion for software engineering. I recently completed a Software Engineering Fellowship at General Assembly, where I developed skills in both front-end and back-end web development, with a particular focus on React and Next.js.
Prior to that, I spent several years working in the film and television industry, where I often collaborated with tech departments to create and improve large-scale systems. I had the pleasure of creating Marvel's first secure script distribution system, working closely with Netflix to improve their in-house production software, and automating the COVID testing protocols on “Inventing Anna.”
I am excited to bring my unique combination of software engineering and production experience to new projects and challenges.
Story
Great at: systems and structures, attention to detail, putting out fires, stepping into leadership roles when needed, being that guy to whom everyone can turn when they need to know what's actually going on, following instructions, general competence, just sitting down and doing the damn thing, word games.
Not so great at: basketball.

Built in conjunction with the AFL-CIO as part of a larger project helping to identify whether any given product is made by union labor. This prototype database has full CRUD functionality, a functional front-end, and utilizes a barcode scanner to automatically pre-fill product information.

Party like it's 1998 with this throwback to the heydey of AOL chatrooms. Make a screenname, make a chatroom, make friends! Just don't tell anyone your real A/S/L (it was a simpler time.) Utilizes Django Channels and websockets to implement full, real-time messaging functionality
